It is the policy of Alvarado Construction to perform the work in the safest manner possible consistent with good construction practices. To fulfill the requirements of this policy, an organized and effective safety program must been carried out at each location where work is performed.
Safety is the first responsibility of the Project Team. Accidents can be prevented through planning, training, and a cooperative effort in all areas of our operations. In an effort to prevent death, injury, occupational illness, and unnecessary hazards to our employees and our subcontractors, loss of production time, and damage to equipment, and to increase our competitive position, Alvarado has established a safety plan that is used on every project.
By educating and training subcontractors and their personnel, we strive to keep accidents to zero.
ALVARADO CONSTRUCTION has received several safety awards from the Army Corps of Engineers for our safe work practices.
